It is a Career and Technical Student Organization that plays a crucial role in the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system. FCCLA provides members with the opportunity to enhance their leadership potential and develop essential life skills, including planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication. Somerville Community, The bond proposition passed with 317 votes (For) and 281 (Against), or 53.01% (For) and 46.99% (Against). One of our primary goals during this bond election was to ensure that every voter had the information needed to make an informed decision. The strong turnout during early voting and on Election Day shows that our community cares deeply about the future of Somerville ISD. Throughout this process, we remained committed to transparency and accessibility, working hard to earn the trust of our community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped share that message—your dedication to this process truly made a difference. Somerville Elementary and Intermediate students participated in Field Day on Friday, May 2nd. The day was filled with enjoyable activities and opportunities for personal growth and teamwork.

‼️All signed cheer forms and signed uniform invoices need to be turned in by Wednesday, April 30th. If they are not turned in, your uniform will not be ordered/processed and you will not continue with the cheer squad. If you did not make the meeting on April 23rd, you can stop by Coach Schuenemann’s classroom(JH) or the Administration building(Varsity) after school to pick up or drop off forms.
