We have also been made aware of calls being made on behalf of our cheerleading & basketball program to solicit money from community members for a fundraiser. The company making these calls claims to be called Direct Marketing; however, they may begin using any number of fake names and phone numbers. This is also a scam. Please be aware of any calls requesting donations for organizations related to Somerville ISD. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the SISD Administration Office at 979-596-2153. Again, send this information to all community members to get the word out.

Somerville Community:
We have been made aware that someone claiming to be the project manager for our bond project is calling local businesses and community members to solicit money for a “fundraiser”. This is a scam, and we encourage you to contact law enforcement should you receive any suspicious calls or emails like this. Somerville ISD is not doing any fundraising for our bond projects. Please help us keep the community informed by spreading the word.

Hey Yeguas! Many have asked how they can support our fellow Texas communities that have been impacted by recent flooding. Somerville FFA is partnering with FFA chapters across the state to collect gift cards for flood victims in the Texas Hill Country.
All donated gift cards will be delivered to the Texas FFA Association for distribution directly to those in need within the affected communities. If you would like to help, please drop off gift cards at the SISD Administration Office by 4:00 p.m. on July 16th.
Most importantly, let’s continue to keep these families and communities in our thoughts and prayers.
