Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15 to October 15, honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of individuals whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. This annual celebration is a time to recognize the rich diversity and lasting impact of Hispanic and Latino communities in our nation.
The evening will include Lotería, prizes, and a delicious meal prepared by the Somerville ISD Culinary Department, generously sponsored by Kovasovic’s Meat Market. We are grateful for their continued support in helping make this event special.
We look forward to seeing you and your family as we come together to celebrate.

We look forward to seeing everyone at tonight's home volleyball and football games! As a reminder for all guests...entry into tonight's football game for Yegua fans will only be through the center entrance on the home side of the stadium, and visitors will enter through the visitor side gate. Please remember that metal-detecting wands will be utilized, and all bags brought into the stadium will be searched. Additional parking is available at the American Legion, located directly across from the stadium entrance. To skip the lines, don't forget to purchase your tickets ahead of time by accessing the link below or visiting www.somervilleisd.org. Tickets may also be purchased with cash or credit card at both entrances. Gates for both entrances will open at 6:00 p.m. Please come out and support all of our Yeguas tonight!

Somerville Community:
We have been made aware that someone claiming to be the project manager for our bond project is calling local businesses and community members to solicit money for a “fundraiser”. This is a scam, and we encourage you to contact law enforcement should you receive any suspicious calls or emails like this. Somerville ISD is not doing any fundraising for our bond projects. Please help us keep the community informed by spreading the word.
