Attention Parents: Is your child up to date on IMMUNIZATIONS?
Hey Yeguas! Many have asked how they can support our fellow Texas communities that have been impacted by recent flooding. Somerville FFA is partnering with FFA chapters across the state to collect gift cards for flood victims in the Texas Hill Country.
All donated gift cards will be delivered to the Texas FFA Association for distribution directly to those in need within the affected communities. If you would like to help, please drop off gift cards at the SISD Administration Office by 4:00 p.m. on July 16th.
Most importantly, let’s continue to keep these families and communities in our thoughts and prayers.

FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. It is a Career and Technical Student Organization that plays a crucial role in the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system. FCCLA provides members with the opportunity to enhance their leadership potential and develop essential life skills, including planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication. These skills are valuable both at home and in the workplace.

Teacher Appreciation Week
This week, we proudly celebrate our dedicated teachers for the incredible work they do each and every day to support and inspire our students. Their year-round commitment, passion, and perseverance make a lasting impact on our school community, and this week is our opportunity to show our heartfelt appreciation.
Today, we treated our teachers to “Room Service” — a special breakfast delivered right to their classrooms as a token of our gratitude.
We extend a sincere thank you to our PTO for partnering with the Somerville Elementary and Intermediate administration to make Teacher Appreciation Week memorable and meaningful.
We are preparing to administer the i-Ready Diagnostic to Kindergarten through 7th-grade students.
