High School Football Practice begins tomorrow morning, August 5th, at 7am at the Rock!!!
Athletes, you need to be in the locker room before 6:30am. If you need equipment, you must be in K1s office at 6:15am. Those who have yet to get a physical still need to attend practice but will not be able to participate.
We need YOUR help! Please donate school supplies/monetary donations THIS MONDAY, August 5, Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive from 3-6 pm at 3 different locations-Caldwell Walmart parking lot, Snook ISD parking lot, & Somerville B&B parking lot. All donations will stay local and be given DIRECTLY to Burleson County schools for staff to give to students who were not able to attend the Back to School Blast and help students replenish throughout the school year. Please stop by and help out! Thank you!!

Due to half of the coaches being at coaching school this week. Coach Preston and Coach Vela will hold Basketball Open Gym (11a-12p) and Weight Room (9a-11a) on Monday & Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday will be your regular SAC workout. Due to possible weather in the forecast we will announce each days Sport Specific Instruction (SSI) as we get closer.
There is also no Cross Country practice this week.

Make immunizations a part of your child’s back-to-school routine. Consult with their doctor to ensure they are caught up on their vaccines and prepared for the upcoming school year, especially incoming kindergarteners and 7th graders! Contact Amie Eschete, BSN, RN for information about required vaccinations. Any students who are not up-to-date on immunizations will not be permitted to attend school until all vaccinations are received.
Athletes and Parents, due to the recent storms, SSI has been bumped back 1 day this week. Tomorrow's Sport Specific Instruction (SSI) after SAC camp will be Football / Volleyball. Remember SAC is from 9a-11a and SSI is from 11a-12p.
If you are in town, you need to be at workouts. We also need your PHYSICALS!!! Remember you cannot practice in August without a current physical.

We are pleased to announce not one but TWO big promotions coming out of Somerville today! Coach Josh Vela has officially become the Lady Yeguas Head Girls Basketball Coach, and Coach Logan Naiser has officially become the Yeguas Defensive Coordinator! Please help us congratulate our coaches!

"If you are in high school and planning on running cross country this year, we will begin practicing on Monday, July 1st. Practices will begin at 8am, and will be finished in time for you to attend SAC Camp. Practices dates are listed below.
Week 1: July 1st - 3rd
Week 2: July 8th - 11th
Week 3: No Practice
Week 4: July 24th - 25th
Week 5: July 29th - August 1st
If you cannot make it, I encourage you to run on your own. I look forward to seeing you all there!"

Your Yeguas are competing in the State 7on7 Tournament today at Veterans Park in College Station. Pool play begins against Tidehaven at 1 o’clock on field 9. Bring lawn chairs, water and be prepared to move around with the Team.
