The students in the Culinary program took a field trip to Texas A&M - Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management, and Tourism. Students also toured the Hotel and Conference center.
The students met with one of the Executive Chefs, Professors, and the Department Chair for the Hospitality program.


Teacher Appreciation Week: Somerville Church of God provided yummy treats and the Somerville EL/INT Admin Team also treated the staff with various snacks! Thank you for the goodies! We appreciate our staff and community members!

Barrett Howe won the district golf meet yesterday, shooting an 84. He will compete in the Regional meet later this month on Corpus Christi. Way to go, Yegua Golfer!

The food manager certificate will allow students a competitive edge in the food service industry. At least one person per shift in the food service industry must have their food manager certification in Texas.
