Attention Yeguas!
We will have an early release at 1:30 p.m. to make travel accommodations for all our students traveling to Luling for our football playoff game this Friday, November 15th. Buses will run their regular routes beginning at approximately 1:40 p.m. on Friday.
We hope to see you all there on Friday in Luling to root on our Yeguas as they take on D'Hanis HS!

Our Elementary 2nd/3rd/4th Graders are busy tracking their progress on their iReady Lessons! Each student can earn a leaf or animal to add to our forest trees for completing iReady lessons. Ask your child about their progress! Way to go 2nd/3rd/4th graders!

We have a Family Engagement/Open House Tonight! We look forward to seeing you at the campuses! Also, we will have ROOMS Support in the Elementary Front Office. The SISD App that our teachers use to contact parents/send out information to students! It is a great tool to have for easy access to grades and your student's teacher!
As a reminder, there will be no HS football game this week due to McDade forfeiting their game this Friday. Instead, the Somerville JH football will play Mcdade JH on Friday, November 1, at 6:00 p.m. at Yegua Stadium. Pre-game activities will include recognizing the cheer and football seniors and parents beginning at 5:40. The Yegua Band will perform their marching band routine during halftime of the JH game, and immediately after their halftime performance the band students and parents will be recognized. Our up-and-coming Yegua band members in the 6th grade will also join us for this game. Come out and support all of our current and future Yeguas this Friday!
