GET TO SAC CAMP!!!
1) SAC CAMP is back in action tomorrow (7/23) and Thursday (7/24) with Football and Volleyball SSI.
2) 25-26 Registration - July 28-29 - Registration for the 25/26 school year will be open from 10a - 6:30p in the Elementary Library. Your student athletes cannot begin practice unless they are enrolled in school.
3) PHYSICALS - Your student athletes cannot participate in practice until they have a valid physical on file. Attached is the physical form.
4) ACCLAMATION DAYS (Football Only) - The UIL requires that all football players have 5 acclamation days and 7 full contact practices before being allowed to complete against other schools (scrimmages included). Your athlete MUST attend all practices in order to compete in the 1st scrimmage against Hearne/Tomas.
There are only 10 Days left until the first day of Volleyball Practice and 13 Days until Football Practice!

As we countdown these last 2 weeks, we have a few reminders below:

The Somerville Lady Yegua volleyball team will be hosting a Co-Ed indoor volleyball tournament on Saturday, August 2nd to help us raise money to cover our girls upcoming media day fees.

In attempts to get out on the field Wednesday and Thursday, we will be reversing this weeks’ SSI. Monday and Tuesday will be Boys and Girls Basketball! Wednesday and Thursday will be Baseball and Softball!
The starts of Volleyball and Football is 3 weeks away. If you have not been able to attend SAC, make the effort to get there this week!
Hey Yeguas! Many have asked how they can support our fellow Texas communities that have been impacted by recent flooding. Somerville FFA is partnering with FFA chapters across the state to collect gift cards for flood victims in the Texas Hill Country.
All donated gift cards will be delivered to the Texas FFA Association for distribution directly to those in need within the affected communities. If you would like to help, please drop off gift cards at the SISD Administration Office by 4:00 p.m. on July 16th.
Most importantly, let’s continue to keep these families and communities in our thoughts and prayers.

Hopefully everyone was safe and enjoyed their 4th of July week! SAC is back in action tomorrow morning! Only 4 weeks away until Football (Friday, August 4th) and Volleyball (Friday, August 1st) practice begins! Make sure you get your physicals done and bring them with you to SAC camp! This week’s SSI will be boys and girls basketball!

I hope everyone’s summer is going good. But it’s that time of year again. SAC Camp is kicking off full swing this Monday from 8 to 10 AM.
The SSI for this week will be baseball and softball! SSI will occur at the conclusion of SAC Camp between 10 and 11 AM. So remember to bring your gloves and bats!

Another successful TRIBE Baseball camp in the books. We had 18 players attend throughout the week focusing on fundamentals, skill development and teamwork. Thank you to all the athletes that attended and the High School athletes that came out to help work with and support the young members of our Tribe!

Due to the recent weather the baseball field is currently unplayable. We will have Baseball camp in the gym today.
The Lady Yegua softball program will be hosting their annual camp next week June 17th and 18th from 10am-12pm.
