Tuesday, February 15, 2022, @ 3 PM we will have a send-off for the Girls Basketball Team. The route will start from the Elementary Bus Circle and down 9th Street! We hope to see everyone there to show our Yeguas support and wish them luck!!!

Somerville ISD would like to thank the cafeteria ladies for making today a bit more special by baking heart-shaped biscuits for breakfast!!
They were very much appreciated and tasted delicious! Thank you, Sherry, for baking these yummy Valentine biscuits! We love all that the ladies do for us each day in the cafeteria!

Held off a 2nd half Burton rally after leading 30-18 at the half. Ra'Maya Carter led with 21, Destiny Vela added 10 pts, while Halle Stevens chipped in with 8!

Tuesday, February 1st:
The Lady Yeguas beat Snook 42-14, Snook did not score a field goal until 7:56 to go in the 2nd quarter, and only had five total made field goals. The Lady Yeguas improved to 14-9 on the year and will face Burton in Burton on Friday. For Somerville, Ra'Maya Carter scored 19 points, while Camia Martin added 9. Emma Kovasovic led the way with 11 rebounds and Martin added 10.
