Are you or someone that you know interested in developing the skills to prepare for a new job or career, having access to employment resources, going to college or a technical school, earning your GED, or maybe even learning the English language? Join us Wednesday evening at 5:30 in the Yegua Center for free food, prizes, and the opportunity to learn how we can partner together to better our community! Friday, October 11th FOOTBALL GAME vs Burton: has been moved to Brazos Christian High School at 7 PM. The address is 3000 W Villa Maria Rd, Bryan, TX 77807. Cash will be accepted at the gate.

HS Parent/Teacher Conference Day: Monday, October 14th! Parents can come and go on their own. The campus teachers will be there from 9 AM to 3:30 PM!

Free event with food and awesome door prizes! Come join us for our first-ever community development series as we partner with Texas Workforce, Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, and the Burleson County Economic Development Council! This is the first of many community development series that we hope to offer here in Somerville, which will support our community with developing skills in resume writing, job interviewing skills, information on local job market needs/trends, upskilling opportunities, GED classes, English language classes, and much more! Congratulations!! Grand Champion Ariel Zamora. In the mini-scape competition, Ariel had to design a scene representing the Burleson County Fair theme of "Let the Good Times Roll." He could bring in extra items to create the scene and was given unknown plants to finish the design.

Elementary/Intermediate: Yegua Spirit Store: Every Friday!!!

We look forward to seeing everyone at this year's Baker Highway Bowl! As a reminder for all guests, entry into football games this year will only be through the center entrance on the stadium's home side. Metal-detecting wands will be utilized, and bags brought into the stadium will be searched. Extra parking is available at the American Legion, which is directly across from the entrance to the stadium. Tickets may be purchased online or at the gate with either cash or credit card, but long lines are expected for this week's game.
