The end of the year is near, which means the science fair is right around the corner! All students in grades 8th to 12th grade will be required to participate in the science fair on Monday, May 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Yegua Center.
Students will be given instructions and rubrics from their teachers on project requirements but can start brainstorming ideas now.

Just a reminder.... Students are out of school tomorrow, April 4th, and Monday, April 7th. Have a great weekend.

Join us for the Burleson County Property Tax 101 Town Hall Meeting.....Do you have questions about property taxes and how to complete applications for your exemptions? The Burleson County Appraisal District will be onsite to provide information and answer questions about the property tax system on Thursday, April 3rd, at 6:00 p.m. in the Yegua Center! See the attached flyer for more details.
After the town hall meeting, we will be available to provide information and answer questions about the upcoming bond election. We will also have renderings of the proposed projects available for viewing.


Free Donuts and Coffee this Wednesday, April 2nd! Hey Yeguas, drive through or stop by tomorrow for Coffee and Conversations! Register to vote, view renderings of the proposed bond projects, or ask us questions about the upcoming bond election. It's all happening in the front parking lot of Somerville Elementary!
