2016 Bond Proposal Building Program with Cost Breakdown

 

New Construction: New Elementary School, New Elementary Gym, New District-Wide Cafeteria. Total Square Footage = 67,700

 

Low Cost Estimate per square foot - $140/sq ft = $9,478,000

High Cost Estimate per square foot - $155/ sq ft = $10,493,500

 

Site Cost + Parking Cost + Baseball Field Relocation + Softball Field Lights = $400,000 to $450,000

 

Soft Costs: Architect/Engineer Fees, Consultant Fees, Printing Fees, Geotechnical/Soil Testing, Topographic Survey, Furniture and Fixtures, and Data/IT Equipment = $1,076,702 to $1,192,842

 

Total Estimated Cost: Low End = $11,379,702

High End = $12,611,342

Bond Early Voting: April 25 29, 2016 @ 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

May 2 -3, 2016 @ 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Bond Election Day May 7, 2016 @ 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

 

Location- All voting to take place at SISD Central Administration Building @ 625 8th Street
