Parents: If you have not registered your child for the 2020 - 2021 school year through our Parent Portal system, it is important that you do so. In order to register you will need to go to the school website, www.somervilleisd.org, then click on the "menu", then "student registration", and then "Parent Portal." It is important that we are provided an accurate phone number and email address. Thank you very much for your support of Somerville Elementary and Somerville ISD.
To the families of Somerville Elementary School. I hope that you all are doing well. I will tell you all that the teachers of Somerville Elementary are working diligently to prepare for the 2020 - 2021 school year. I just wanted to pass on a couple of notes to you all.
1. We are requesting that all students bring a water bottle with a screw on top to school. We will not be utilizing our water fountains, but will have water bottle filling stations provided for the students. Please make sure you have your child's name on the water bottle.
2. We will only have in-person Meet the Teacher nights for pre-K and Kindergarten. 1st through 4th grades will have virtual Meet the Teacher night events. I will contact you once these events are scheduled.
Good afternoon to you all. I hope that you all are doing well. I am including a link to a survey that I would like for you to complete. As we prepare for the 2020 - 2021 school year, we are wishing to find out who will be registering their children for face to face instruction compared to virtual (online) instruction. If you could complete this quick survey I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time, and have a very safe rest of the week.
