Junior High School Band 6th Grade Band Takes Division On April 25, the 6th Grade Band competed at the Sealy Music Festival. At the competition, they received 1st Division ratings in both concert and sightreading. Excitement could be felt on the bus ride home. On Thursday May 1st, the band received an additional award. The group won the 6th Grade Division of the Festival. They competed against five other bands. Good Job!!! ATSSB Region 18/26 Middle School Band Auditions The Junior High Band Had an outstanding weekend! Eight of our students made Region Band. Katy Blancher - 2nd Chair Symphonic, Timpani Karen Kempenich- 3rd Chair Symphonic, Baritone Joseph Reese - 3rd Chair Symphonic, Tenor Trombone Stuart Griffin - 10th Chair Symphonic, Trumpet Jacob Goodnight - 2nd Chair Concert, Tenor Sax & alt. on Alto Sax. Dylan Schnittger - 4th Chair Concert, Baritone Audious Jerkins - 11th Chair Concert, Tenor Trombone Jonathan Balboa - 12th Chair Concert, Tenor Trombone These eight will be traveling to Hutto this weekend for the Clinic/Concert on Friday/Saturday, Nov. 16/17, at 2:00 pm. The concert is on Saturday at the Hutto HS auditorium starting at 5:00 pm with the HS Jazz Band. Congratulations guys!!! Home
