Board Meetings

The Board meets in regular session the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administration Building located at 625 8th Street, Somerville, Texas.

School Closing

In the event of inclement weather or other emergencies, information concerning school closings will be aired over the television on KBTXTV3 and radio stations KTEX 106.1 FM, KWHI 1280 AM, KULF 94.1 FM.

Public Welcome in School

Parents and community members are welcome to visit our schools. To provide security for our students and staff, visitors should stop by the Principal's Office prior to visiting any classroom or activity.

Transportation:

Bus routes run daily. Behavior on the bus is expected to conform to the established rules. Questions concerning transportation should be addressed to the principal of the campus your child is attending or to the Superintendent & Transportation Director, Charles Camarillo.

Food Service:

Somerville ISD offers nutritional meals each day. Each student is provided information to apply for free or reduced price lunches and parents are encouraged to complete and return the application. Questions concerning free or reduced price lunches should be directed to Barbie Lewis, Cafeteria Manager at phone number 596-1461.

Athletics:

Somerville ISD offers a quality athletic program in a wide variety of sports under the supervision of Athletic Director Jose Martinez. Information concerning athletics can be obtained by calling 596-2331.

Band:

Somerville ISD offers a quality band program. Band classes begin in Jr. High at the 6th grade level. Information concerning the band program can be direct to Carl Idlebird at 596-1534.
