The mission of Somerville Elementary is to ensure that all students
learn the skills necessary to become productive, caring citizens who
strive to do their best in an ever-changing, global society. The
success of each student will be accomplished by a team effort and
shared responsibility of teacher, administrators, parents, students,

Pre K to 5th Grade
Somerville Elementary School is
dedicated to the education of all children in our diverse community. It is
our mission to develop a foundation that emphasizes a love for oneself and
a love for others.
Under HB 2048, Somerville ISD offers an all-day Pre-kindergarten program. The qualifications are as follows:
- 4 year-old children that qualify for our free or reduced lunch program
- 4 year-old children of staff or faculty members
- 4 year-old children non-qualifying with paid tuition
- Student must be 4 years old by September 1st
